Tyranny of Dragons - Character Bio : Torsion

Hello and Welcome!

Torsion is one of the Heroes in our Tyranny of Dragons game. Let's learn a little bit about him!

He is a Hill Dwarf studying the ancient tomes at the Great Library of Candlekeep and is a Cleric of the Life Domain. 

Dwarves are not known for being very Charismatic and Torsion is no exception. He is quite a grumpy sort despite him being Lawful Good and focused on the restoration and healing of those around him. Perhaps it is because of his focus on books and knowledge or the fact that he cannot understand when others around him behave in ways that are not congruent with his thinking. He is quite prone to letting out a deep harumph under his white beard when frustrated.

His mentor is Onthar Frume and he is a member of the Order of the Gauntlet. He has been studying in the great libraries. He naturally follows Selune, the Goddess of Life & Knowledge. 

His studies have been focused on the Cult of Dragons and their strange worship of Undead Dragon Liches as he finds this a most disagreeable abomination and against all that is sacred and holy with Life. 

So when he received a letter from Onthar to help him investigate recent activity in Greenest by what were rumoured to be Dragon Cultists, he jumped at that chance to dive deeper into this mystery as all these writings were not just stories but indeed beliefs still head today by some that threatened the order of things. And he thought this would help him get closed with his mentor. 

He was lucky to get on the next Merchant Caravan that was heading to Greenest where he saw with horror the events unfold as the town was already under siege when he arrived.

Now at level 3, he grows stronger and his studies have helped him become Observant so this Feat has helped him increase his Wisdom. And he hopes to battle these evil Cultists with his new Spiritual Weapon. And he has learned that Brother Leosin is also in council with Onthar Frume.

We'll see how he grows and if he can help unravel the mystery and gain the attention of his mentor Onthar Frume!
