Frøya is a warrior-cleric of the old ways, a Maiden of Life drawn from the Shadow Over Nordheim setting by DM Stash. She stands in a commanding, self-assured pose — one hand resting on her hip, the other gripping a tall twisted spear with a broad leaf-shaped blade. Her armour is elaborately detailed: layered pauldrons adorned with flora motifs, scale-panelled greaves, and a belted skirt etched with Nordic knotwork. Flowers and vines curl into the sculpt across her breastplate and helm, speaking to a divinity rooted in growth and renewal rather than cold doctrine. Her wolf companion crouches at her side, clad in its own armoured barding, fur rendered in fine individual strands — alert, loyal, and ready.
Whether she serves as a player character cleric or druid, a powerful NPC priestess of a nature deity, or a divine champion of a northern pantheon, Frøya brings genuine narrative weight to the table. The sculpt rewards painters — the back of the armour carries deeply incised knotwork panels, and the wolf's feathered barding is rich with texture. Equally at home on a gaming table or a display shelf.
Well-suited to adventurers who:
- Play clerics or druids with a Norse or nature-domain flavour
- Need a memorable NPC priestess, faction leader, or divine herald
- Are building a Viking-inspired or northern wilderness campaign setting
- Want a centrepiece miniature with an animal companion included on the base
- Collect display pieces that reward detailed painting
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked a corrupted frost spirit deep into the Nordheim wilds, only to find Frøya already there — crouching beside a dying wolf pup, her expression unreadable. She tells them the spirit is not corrupted; it is grieving. She needs their help to uncover what killed its bonded deer — and she suspects the answer leads back to the village that hired the party in the first place.
