Spooky Spooky!!

Hello again Brave Adventurers and welcome to the Spooky Season!
We've been busy here at Mitz and Simz since our last post so we wanted to give you an update.
The main activity for this past month has been catching up on product listing backlogs.
Namely, we've caught up on the entire catalogue of Great Grimoire (if you noticed we missed any straggler items, do let us know and we'll sort it out!). They have a wide range of dark and gothic inspired models, many of which are inspired by other source material which would feature well into your campaigns to make them truly unique. And their style is perfect for this season!
Additionally, we've caught up on models from MZ4250. A huge set of new player character models for you to use. He does a prolific job within the community to create great models.
Scatter and Terrain - we've added a large amount of items from many of our artists to add that extra bit of ambiance to your games and settings. And we are flirting with the idea of expanding our production to include FDM printing to do even larger terrain and scatter pieces (Resin printing just isn't the best for doing those larger set pieces) so stay tuned in the future for updates on that. Maybe some Black Friday deals - let's see!
Speaking of our fleet, we have retired our Mars 3 Pro (it was a great device, but time to let it enjoy some time off!) and we have replaced it with an additional Saturn Ultra 3. It is a big benefit to speed and efficiency while providing excellent quality.
And the rest of our artists have been busy as well. And perfect for the season, we have a lot of vampires and werewolves added as well as many other great models. So please have a look! And we are always adding more items. We've decided to not update Etsy for the time being as we are looking to drive more traffic here and it makes it easier to manage and maintain.
We've also added a new line from one of our existing artists - Spicy Arts. These are tasteful pin-up designs and we want to add them to the catalogue to offer some variety (it is the spice of life after all!) to our listings while supporting a great artist we already have been supporting with an alternative line of designs that she does. But we want to emphasize that we want to only support positive and tasteful designs.
As part of celebrating the season, we've been predominately adding spooky related minis as a bonus to all of our orders.
On a personal note, we had a short city break to Budapest and it was a lovely time and apologies for the slight delay while working to catch-up on the backlog but we are caught up now. We have a short getaway to the New Forest at the end of this month so that should be lovely (and spooky!). Oh, and we were lucky enough to see the amazing illusion in the sky with the Northern Lights visible down here in Folkestone. It was a great display (check out the photo on the Instagram) and finally managed to check off an item on the bucket list despite having had many attempts to see them in Northern Finland.
The lovely Mitz and Simz are of course doing well and enjoying all the attention and cuddles. They enjoy the darker mornings (they are a minority in this opinion!) when they wake us up early to let them out by checking us for signs of life but they are less impressed by the cooler temperatures. But they are clever ladies and they have all their perfect spots indoors to get nice and warm and toasty.
Next up we are looking to do some more enhancements under the hood to increase traffic to the site over Etsy. And adding new models as they come up from our artists (we currently only have a backlog from Arcanum Workshop to add to the site; for Galaad Miniatures, we'll plan some catch-up of their older models over the coming months so we'll add those when we get them). One we get more established and more traffic moved over to the site, we'll start to plan some contests and giveaways. And we are trying to expand into Facebook and Instagram more to get more connected and reach out to more people to bring the great items to a wider audience.
We are looking forward to carving pumpkins in prep for Halloween so we'll post pics of that once ready.
Otherwise another heartfelt thank you to all of our amazing customers who support us in our journey and our passion for this fun hobby. We always love to hear how your stories are going and how the items are enhancing them and of course we always love to see pictures of your painted masterpieces so please keep them coming. And of course we cannot do this hobby without the amazing artists we support so even if we didn't mention any of them specifically in this post, they each are doing amazing things for the community so please check them out. And of course, if you need something custom scaled or printed, just let us know. Or if you have any other questions, please reach out - we are always happy to help!
Wishing everyone a safe and spooky Halloween season, filled with many tricks and treats!
Happy continued gaming and painting!
-Pete
