Kael the Forlorn Soul is a Dark Pact Warlock sculpted from the ground up to tell a story before a single brushstroke has been applied. He stands tall beneath a heavy linen cloak — its woven texture rendered with exceptional crispness across every fold and tear — clasped at the collar by a skull-adorned medallion that speaks quietly of the bargain he made. His torso bears runic tattoos etched into bare skin beneath the armour plates, a permanent record of whatever contract bound him to his patron.

In his raised right hand, warlock flame writhes upward in a tight, twisting column — controlled but barely, the kind of fire that knows its master is losing his grip. His left hand trails a bound and knotted effigy head, dangling by its hair — a trophy, a focus, or a warning, depending on how dark your campaign runs. His arm wraps are spiked at the forearms, and his belt is heavy with pouches and tools. The sculpt's scenic base captures cracked, frost-dusted ground, giving him a wanderer's weight — as though he arrived somewhere he did not expect to survive and kept walking anyway.

Encounter Hook

The party finds Kael at the edge of a burned-out village, standing motionless in the ash. He doesn't turn when they approach. The flame in his hand has been burning for three days without rest. He tells them he is hunting the thing his patron sent to remind him of the terms of their agreement — and that it is hunting him back. He needs their help. He will not beg. The effigy he carries belonged to the last person who tried to help him.
