Description

The village looked abandoned — until you noticed the jack-o'-lantern grinning from the fence post, its hollow eyes tracking your every step.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This Spooky Fence scatter terrain piece is a characterful addition to any haunted village, cursed graveyard, or autumnal wilderness encounter. A section of weathered picket fencing — planks uneven, crossbeams battered — is adorned with a single carved pumpkin, its leering face wedged between the stakes. The base is textured earth edged with twisted rope, giving the piece a grounded, rustic quality that sits naturally alongside other rural or gothic terrain elements.

Whether you're setting the scene for a Ravenloft investigation, a Harvest Festival gone wrong, or simply dressing up the approach to a villain's lair, this fence section brings instant atmosphere. It works equally well as functional cover on a battle map or as a display piece on a shelf alongside your painted collection.

Brought out by adventurers who:

  • Run Halloween-themed sessions, haunt crawls, or Ravenloft campaigns
  • Want scatter terrain that tells a story without dominating the table
  • Build immersive dioramas or display setups with a gothic or rural aesthetic
  • Like their battle maps to have that one unsettling detail players always remember

Encounter Hook:
The party is following a trail of missing villagers into the outskirts of Millhaven. As they push through the fog, the path narrows between a row of these rotting fences — and then the players notice that the pumpkin on the nearest post has turned to face them, though nobody saw it move. Roll Initiative.

This terrain piece is scaled to 32mm. It is supplied unpainted in grey resin and is ready for priming and painting straight away — or use it as-is for immediate atmosphere on your table. Some minor surface marks from the printing process are possible and easily tidied up before painting. This item comes as one piece, attached to its base.
