Let's be *clear* about what one thing ...
Hello & Welcome!
The weather is trying to get warmer. There are a few moments of success and some pleasant sunshine, but the cold weather still hasn't fully given up its chilling grasp, but soon it will be time to enjoy the warm outdoors.
And so I thought I would give a brief news update. Its been quite busy since the last update, so just a few things to highlight.
We've had two winners so far with our monthly giveaways. We hope the winners are pleased with their items and using them to enhance their hobby experience. The April one will come out soon and our plan is to keep doing them as it is a good bit of a fun and a great way to reach out to the community and grow.
In terms of growing, we are happy for all of our new followers - thanks ever so much! We'll continue to try to keep content engaging and online as well as keep printing great miniatures. And I have to thank Emily (our Social Media Kobold - sorry - its a term of positive support within this genre! :-) ) has really been helping so really happy for her help.
In terms of printing great miniatures, we are still constantly adding new items as our artists drop new releases for us. So make sure to check them out.
Our campaigns are continuing still mostly regularly. And there have been some exciting events happening so please make sure to catch-up on the blog posts that Adam and I write-up after each session. Its a good bit of creative fun.
And also we have managed to do some painting (Adam a LOT more than me to be fair!) and we're excited to share those images with everyone (just as we are excited to share the images that are shared with us from the community). Some truly great work from everyone!
As for the post title, yes, technically speaking, the term should be "translucent", but let's go with the intended play on words ... :-)
But I'm excited to announce that we finally had a go to give printing with translucent resin a try and I am pleased with the results. A customer of mine asked if I could print his Wizard PC in clear and I said, well, I've always wanted to give it a try so I said now is a good time as any to try.
And it worked out well! So of course, I had to print the Gelatinous Cube (from Yasashii Kyojin) - it was basically mandatory. To be fair, I probably should have used blue tinted translucent resin, but I only had clear, so it'll have to do. :-)

I think the Gelatinous Cube worked out really well - its the perfect model for it!
And here is the Hero Forge created customer Wizard the other Customer designed and printed, together with the Spirit Guardian spell effect (from Mia Kay M3DM - another great model):

So I would say if anyone is interesting printing anything in Translucent, please reach out and we can discuss how to make it happen!
And I think Adam's characters in Rime of the Frostmaiden may get a bit of this special treatment in the near future (and mine in Tyranny of Dragons could use a Spirit Guardian spell effect - as well as perhaps an updated Mage Hand ...). :-)
Otherwise juggling the balance of normal work and life and this passion project of mine and so far its working fine, even if there are a few slight hiccups, but this is life.
And finally, Mitz and Simz want to say hi! :-)

They are absolute sweeties and they'll have their MOT's later in April - I'll give an update after that is completed.
So until then, happy painting and gaming and get in touch!
Thanks!
-Pete (and Mitz & Simz)
