Artist Focus - DM Stash

Hello and welcome!
This Artist Focus post takes a look at an exception to our rule of mainly supporting small independent artists but in this case we are happy to make an exception for DM Stash. Check out their page here - DM Stash.
DM Stash is a larger studio and they create a themed release once a month of predominantly player characters and NPC's with a few monsters and 1 or 2 BBEG models (including a few busts of some of the characters). And let's be honest, the models do look stunning and they are very detailed (although to be fair, the rest of our smaller artists can do equally stunning pieces).
But why did we make such an exception? Well, in all honesty, one factor was to help stay competitive with the other shops selling items (DM Stash items are popular). But, the other factor is that the releases are still full of variety and proper design. Unlike some (most?) of the other larger studios, each release is not full of the same model in different poses. Instead, each model still feels unique and distinct (and to be fair to them, many of the others also do great design work). Note though, there is nothing wrong with 1 model in 8 different poses, it just isn't what fits our mission statement the best.
The models paint up very nicely. Most of the bases with the models do fit best because many of the poses are quite dynamic in nature, but of course crafty customers can easily make their own bases.
Their take on classic monsters also feel unique (while still being instantly recognisable) which is nice in order to have some additional variety within the library.
We generally add the new items each month relatively quickly after each release is dropped.
They also create campaign material so if you want to run a different Dungeons & Dragons game, you can check out their content and give them a spin. They also produce terrain pieces which we hope to add to the shop once we get going with FDM printing.
So, while a deviation from our usual vision, we feel that DM Stash still has a small studio feel and this is why we are happy to make an exception and of all of the large studios we are happy to support DM Stash.
Happy gaming and painting!
