Bandit Boss (Derrick the Fin) by DM Stash
Description
He moves through crowded market streets like smoke through a keyhole — half the city owes him money, and the other half doesn't know his name yet.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Derrick the Fin is no common cutpurse. This sculpt captures him mid-stride across rubble-strewn cobblestones, a curved blade raised in one hand and a flintlock pistol gripped low in the other. His spiked pauldrons and layered armour speak to someone who has survived enough ambushes to start dressing for them, while the mask pulled across his face signals a man who has built an entire career on being difficult to identify. His flowing cape catches the motion of the moment beautifully — the back of the sculpt reveals it billowing out mid-run, giving the piece a real sense of urgency and momentum.
Whether you place him at the head of a street gang, behind a dockside smuggling operation, or across the negotiating table from your party, Derrick the Fin has the presence to carry a campaign arc. He's equally at home as a recurring NPC villain, a morally flexible allied rogue, or a rival who's always one step ahead. Equally compelling as a display piece, the sculpt's detail rewards a careful paint job — from the chain-link textures of his coat to the worn cobblestone base beneath his boots.
A good fit for adventurers who:
- Need a named crime boss, underworld faction leader, or morally ambiguous contact NPC
- Are playing a Rogue, Arcane Trickster, or Swashbuckler player character with serious style
- Want a miniature that reads equally well as a villain or an anti-hero
- Collect characterful humanoid sculpts for display alongside their gaming collection
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen shipment — only to discover the man who stole it, Derrick the Fin, is already waiting for them in the warehouse. He leans against a crate, flintlock resting loosely in one hand, and offers them a better deal than the one their employer gave. The question isn't whether they can fight him. It's whether they should.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative cobblestone base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of superglue — the pose interacts with the base, so the two are sculpted to complement each other. Arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or for use straight from the box.
