Description

He does not run. He does not speak. He simply reaches — arms outstretched, taloned fingers grasping — and those who hear his name whispered in the old tongue know that Zhaoqir has already found them.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Zhaoqir is no common shambling corpse. Drawn from the folklore of the jiangshi — the hopping vampires of Eastern legend — this undead lord cuts a deeply unsettling silhouette: tall and rigid in a long ceremonial robe adorned with an intricate circular medallion, his magistrate's cap still perched on his head as if the trappings of authority follow him beyond death. His face is pulled into a feral snarl, fangs bared, eyes hollow with predatory hunger. Long, raking claws extend from both hands — one arm thrust forward in that iconic, terrible reach. A braided queue trails behind him, the detail crisp and deliberate. He stands atop a rubble-strewn base scattered with broken masonry and a miniature Eastern pavilion structure, grounding him unmistakably in his world.

Part of Primal Collectibles' Legacy of Blood range, Zhaoqir arrives in two distinct poses — this listing covers both sculpts in the range. Pose one presents him reaching forward with one arm fully extended and a single grasping claw, his braid swept back dramatically. Pose two shows both arms raised and outstretched, claws spread wide in a stance of horrifying invitation. Together they offer Dungeon Masters genuine versatility — use one as a lesser jiangshi, the other as the revenant lord commanding them. Each sculpt rewards careful painting, with robes full of deep recesses ideal for washes and the facial details sharp enough to bring out every ghastly feature.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run gothic horror or East Asian-inspired TTRPG campaigns
  • Need a distinctive undead boss or vampire-adjacent creature for a Ravenloft-style setting
  • Want an undead miniature that stands apart from the standard graveyard fare
  • Collect display pieces with strong narrative character and lore weight
  • Enjoy a painting challenge with rich surface detail and expressive sculpting

Encounter Hook:
The merchant caravan has been found at the edge of the mountain pass — every soul aboard drained, their faces locked in expressions of rigid terror. The village elder speaks of Zhaoqir in a hushed voice, the magistrate who was buried with debts unpaid and oaths unresolved three centuries ago. Tonight the moon rises full, and the party has been warned: do not let him touch you. Do not stand still. And whatever you do, do not breathe in his presence.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scenic base is included as a separate piece and can be attached with standard modelling glue — Zhaoqir's pose is sculpted to interact with the base, so we recommend using it. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking straight from the shelf as a display piece.
