This is Zombie Sahuagin 01 from Novaminis — the first pose in their Zombie Sahuagin range. The sculpt captures a sahuagin warrior mid-lunge, one clawed foot raised as it lurches forward with grim, undead purpose. Rotted flesh pulls tight across a powerful frame, the creature's horned skull fractured and hollow-eyed, yet still wearing the ornate engraved armour and leg guards of a sahuagin warrior caste. The off-hand trails a spiked weapon, and every angle reveals fresh detail — from the dorsal spines and frilled jaw to the intricate knotwork etched into its belt and greaves. This is no shambling generic zombie; it is a drowned raider that refuses to stay dead.

For Dungeon Masters, the Zombie Sahuagin brings a coastal or aquatic horror element that few creature types can match. These are soldiers of a sahuagin war-band that met a necromantic fate — perhaps through a sea hag's ritual, a drowned god's blessing, or the machinations of an aboleth lurking in the dark below. Equally at home on a ship's deck, a flooded dungeon level, or a coastal village under siege, this miniature carries genuine menace on the tabletop. Collectors and painters will find the sculpt rewards careful brushwork, with deep surface texture across every muscle and piece of armour.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run coastal, underwater, or nautical D&D and TTRPG campaigns
  • Need undead enemies with a distinct, non-humanoid silhouette
  • Want to build out a sahuagin war-band with varied poses across the range
  • Are looking for a characterful display piece or centrepiece miniature for a coastal horror shelf

Encounter Hook:
The fishing village of Saltmere has been found abandoned — nets still in the water, fires still burning, no sign of struggle. That night, as the party investigates the docks, something hauls itself up from the shallows: a sahuagin in crumbling war-armour, hollow sockets fixed on the nearest torch. Then another. Then six more, rising in silence from the dark water below.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be easily fixed with a small amount of glue. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or can be used straight away as-is. As with any hand-finished piece, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before painting.
