Zombie Kobold by Novaminis

Once a skittering tunnel-digger in service to a dragon cult, this kobold met its end in the dark — and something down there refused to let it stay dead.

This is pose 01 of our Zombie Kobold range by Novaminis, and it's a sculpt that earns its place on the table. The figure lurches forward in a hunched, predatory stance — its emaciated frame stretched taut over jutting bones, spine ridged and exposed, a withered tail dragging behind. The horned skull-like head is thrown slightly back with a hollow, gaping jaw, while both arms hang low, clawed fingers spread wide as though reaching for something just out of grasp. A tattered shroud clings to its lower body, shredded at the hem. It's compact, disturbing, and absolutely packed with character — exactly the kind of undead minion that makes players suddenly very aware of how many there might be in the room.

Kobolds were always underestimated — small, trap-setting, pack-tactics creatures that relied on numbers and cunning. In undeath, they lose the cunning but keep the numbers, and something far worse drives them now. Whether raised by a necromancer lurking in an abandoned mine, reanimated as guardians by a lich who appreciated their tunnel knowledge, or simply stumbled through a necrotic rift in the Underdark, zombie kobolds make for unsettling low-to-mid-level encounters — especially when the party realises the traps are still armed.

Supplied at 32mm scale, unpainted and ready for priming. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Every piece is quality checked before dispatch; as with all resin work, minor marks from support removal may occasionally occur and are easily tidied up with light filing.
