Description

Once a sharp-eyed thief who mimicked a hundred voices, this kenku now shambles forward in eerie silence — beak agape, claws outstretched, whatever spark once animated it long since snuffed out.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Zombie Kenku range, sculpted by Novaminis. The figure captures the kenku's distinctive avian anatomy — the heavy hooked beak, scaled taloned feet, and feathered crest — now rendered grotesque in undeath. The body hunches forward in a lurching gait, one clawed hand raking the air while the other hangs limp, tattered robes hanging loose over the decaying frame. It's a sculpt that rewards careful painting: the texture contrast between feathered crest, scaly legs, and worn cloth gives artists plenty to work with.

Whether you're building a necromancer's flock of thralls, populating the ruined rookeries of a dead city, or introducing your players to something genuinely unsettling in the alleyways of a port town, this miniature brings a specific and memorable presence to the table. Equally suited to a painted display shelf as it is to active play.

Suitable for adventurers who:

  • Need undead humanoid enemies with genuine character
  • Are running urban horror, plague city, or necromancer-themed campaigns
  • Want a kenku-specific undead sculpt rather than a generic zombie
  • Enjoy detailed painting projects with varied surface textures
  • Collect display miniatures from independent sculptors

Encounter Hook:
The dockside warehouse has gone quiet — no chatter, no mimicked calls, none of the usual racket from the kenku gang that runs the waterfront. When the party investigates, they find the entire flock still present, still moving, but utterly silent for the first time in their lives — and no longer alive at all. The kenku remember nothing, but their bodies remember how to reach.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor marks from the printing process are possible; these are easily tidied up before priming. Ready to prime and paint straight out of the box, or use as-is on the table.
