This is Zombie Hobgoblin 01, the first pose in our hobgoblin undead range from Novaminis. In D&D 5e, hobgoblins are renowned for their martial discipline and rigid military hierarchy — which makes them all the more unsettling when raised as undead. This sculpt captures that horror beautifully: the battered plate armour is still largely intact, the broad belt buckle and chain detail speak to a warrior of rank, and the rotting right hand — fingers curled into a grasping claw — tells you exactly what's left of the creature that once wore it. The sword arm is outstretched mid-shamble, and the hunched, lurching gait gives the whole figure a grim forward momentum. A great detail to note is the hole punched through the chest plate — a wound that clearly should have been fatal, and was.

Encounter Hook:
The party finds the hobgoblin war camp silent — tents still standing, fires long cold. Then one of the armoured figures at the perimeter turns, and the chain around its ankle pulls taut as it begins to drag itself towards them. Whatever killed this army is still here, and it left the soldiers standing.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is individually quality checked; as with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before priming.
