- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is Pose 01 of the Zombie Harpy range from Novaminis, and it captures something genuinely unsettling: the terrible contradiction of a creature built for soaring flight, now shambling through the sky with grim, mindless purpose. The sculpt shows her wings spread wide and asymmetrically — one thrust high, one angled back — giving the impression of erratic, lurching movement mid-descent. Her long hair falls lank across her gaunt face, her taloned feet are wrapped in binding chains, and one clawed hand reaches forward with the blank compulsion of the undead. Every feather, every sunken rib, every rotting detail rewards a careful brush.
In D&D 5e terms, she fits neatly as a zombie variant or a custom stat block for a necromancer's aerial retinue — a creature that once had the Luring Song of a harpy but now simply dives and claws. On the table she reads immediately: wings up, threat incoming. On a display shelf, she's the kind of piece that makes visitors ask questions.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need aerial undead for Ravenloft, coastal horror, or necromancer encounters
- Want a harpy mini with genuine character beyond a standard stat block
- Are building a themed undead warband or encounter set
- Paint monster miniatures for display as well as gameplay
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a necromancer through the sea-cliff ruins of a drowned city when the lookout screams — three silhouettes drop from the fog above, wings beating in ragged, arhythmic lurches, the remnants of a once-beautiful song escaping their slack mouths as a discordant moan. They cannot be charmed. They cannot be reasoned with. They only descend.
