Yuan-Ti Anathema by Monster Atlas
Description
Five fanged heads weaving in unison, the Yuan-Ti Anathema is not a creature that negotiates — it is the living will of a serpent god made manifest, and it has been waiting beneath this temple for a very long time.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Yuan-Ti Anathema sits at the apex of yuan-ti society, a monstrous divine fusion of humanoid cunning and serpentine savagery. This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures everything that makes the Anathema one of the most distinctive BBEG threats in the D&D monster roster: five separate snake heads fanning outward in a crown of fangs, a powerful coiled serpentine body rising from a broad scaled base, and two clawed humanoid arms spread wide — as though already reaching for whatever poor adventurer dared enter its sanctum. The gold-and-dark-green banding along the belly adds real visual weight, and the open-mouthed heads, each with forked tongues and exposed fangs, give the piece an immediate sense of multi-directional menace that reads brilliantly across the table.
Whether you are running a yuan-ti cult campaign deep in the Underdark, placing this as the final encounter of a snake-themed dungeon, or adding it to a display shelf as a centrepiece creature, the Anathema commands the space it occupies. Scaled at 32mm and carrying the presence of a Large creature, it will stop your players in their tracks the moment it hits the mat.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a heavyweight BBEG for a yuan-ti, serpent cult, or Underdark-themed campaign
- Want a multi-headed monster that reads as genuinely threatening at a glance
- Are building a yuan-ti warband and need its most fearsome leader at the centre
- Collect display-worthy creature minis with strong visual identity
- Love a painting challenge — five distinct heads and contrasting scale patterns offer serious scope
Encounter Hook:
The party has followed the trail of petrified villagers to the lowest chamber of the serpent temple. The braziers burn green. The murals show a five-headed god. Then one of the murals blinks — and the ceiling begins to move.
Details
This miniature is supplied at 32mm scale, ready for priming and painting straight out of the box. The model and base are separate pieces, easily attached with superglue — and this sculpt genuinely benefits from its base, with the coiled body interacting naturally with it for a cohesive finished look. Each piece is quality checked before dispatch; as with all resin prints, very minor marks are occasionally possible and can be tidied up with light sanding before painting.
