Description
He's younger than you expected, stockier than you'd like, and holding that wand with entirely too much confidence for someone who's only passed three of his exams.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Jenks is no wide-eyed apprentice fresh from his first cantrip — there's something calculating behind those narrowed eyes, a cunning that his round face and travel-worn robes do their best to conceal. Sculpted by Monster Atlas, this miniature captures a young wizard mid-scheme: robes layered with pouches and utility belts, a flowing cloak swept back over one shoulder, and a wand raised with the casual authority of someone who knows exactly which spell he's reaching for. His expression is not friendly. His expression is interested, which is somehow worse.
Whether you're casting him as a precocious student who knows too many forbidden spells, a guild-assigned minder with his own agenda, or a rival caster who's about to make your party's life considerably more complicated, Jenks brings a distinct and memorable presence to the table. He works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate character-driven sculpts with real personality in the detail.
A good match for adventurers who:
- Need a young mage NPC who feels genuinely dangerous rather than merely bookish
- Are running a wizarding academy, thieves' guild, or arcane conspiracy arc
- Want a rival spellcaster their players will love to hate
- Are building a collector's shelf of character-rich fantasy miniatures
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to retrieve a stolen spellbook from a young academy dropout — only to find Jenks waiting for them in the vault, wand already raised, with an offer that's far more interesting than their original contract, and a smirk that suggests he's been three steps ahead of everyone since before they arrived.
