Description

Something massive has broken through the treeline — a wall of fur, twisted horns, and open jaws that shakes the snow from the pines with a single roar.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a large-scale yeti sculpt that means business. Thick, shaggy fur covers a powerfully built frame — layers of feather-like tufts sculpted with real depth, revealing corded muscle beneath across the midriff. The creature's head is thrown back mid-roar, mouth wide open to expose rows of teeth, while a crown of spiralling horns rises above the chaos of its mane. There are two distinct variants captured here: one with heavy iron shackles and chains bolted around each wrist — suggesting a beast that has been caged before and broken free — and a second, unshackled version for a more primal, untouched wilderness creature. Both share the same ferocious stance: arms spread wide, feet planted, presence undeniable.

The sculpt rewards painters who enjoy working with texture. The layered fur provides natural shadow traps for washes and ink, the exposed abdominal musculature offers a satisfying contrast to the surrounding mass of hair, and the horns have a ridged, bone-like quality that will hold a dry-brush beautifully. Whether you take this in a bleached Arctic colour scheme or something darker and more demonic is entirely up to you — the sculpt supports both readings equally well.

As a large creature, this yeti will fill the space on your encounter map that a Large stat block demands. The chained variant carries an implicit backstory that Dungeon Masters will find immediately usable — who shackled it, why was it released, and who is responsible for what happens next?

A good choice for adventurers who:

  • Run Arctic wilderness campaigns or cold-weather adventure paths
  • Need a large, physically imposing creature with genuine presence on the table
  • Want a monster that doubles as a centrepiece painting project
  • Are building an encounter around a captive or escaped beast narrative
  • Collect large creature miniatures for display alongside their painted armies

Encounter Hook: The mountain pass was supposed to be clear — the scouts confirmed it. But the scouts did not account for the broken chain hanging from the iron post at the trailhead, or the deep, rhythmic bellowing that has been growing louder for the past ten minutes. The party rounds the last switchback and finds the yeti standing directly in the path, arms spread, head back, roaring at the sky. It has not noticed them yet. It will in approximately six seconds.

Two sculpt variations are available — the shackled version (with heavy chain manacles at each wrist) and the unshackled version (bare wrists, pure beast). Both are large-scale miniatures sized above standard 32mm to reflect the creature's Large stat block. Supplied unpainted with no base included; attach to a base of your choice to suit your basing style. The sculpt is produced by Epic Miniatures and printed here at the Mitz & Simz studio in the UK.

The cats have used their bonus action to look judgmental. As always, it was very effective.
