The Yeti Abomination is a genuinely imposing presence — this is a Huge-scale sculpt, towering over standard 32mm miniatures and immediately commanding attention the moment it hits the table. The render shows a d20 beside it for scale, and the size difference is significant: this thing is built to make players nervous before a single dice is rolled.
Sculpted by Epic Miniatures, the creature hunches forward in an aggressive, lumbering posture — long ape-like arms reaching toward the ground, knuckles almost dragging, weight leaning into a forward charge. The fur is extraordinary in its detail: layered in long, sweeping strands that flow outward as though caught in a biting mountain wind, each strand textured with individual depth. The face is half-buried beneath that cascade of fur — but what's visible is unsettling: sunken eyes, a broad flat nose, and a mouth slightly parted to reveal a row of heavy teeth. This is not a creature that roars. It watches. It waits. Then it closes the distance with terrifying speed.
Two poses are shown in the render: the primary front-facing sculpt with arms wide and fur fanning outward, and a secondary hunched variation where the creature is low to the ground, knuckles down, as though cresting a ridge before the attack. Both carry the same ferocious energy and would work brilliantly across different encounter moments — the approach and the charge.
Whether you're running an arctic wilderness arc, a mountain pass ambush, or a horror-tinged encounter where something older than civilisation lives in the ice, this miniature brings that threat to life with real sculptural craft.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Need a Huge-sized creature to anchor a dramatic arctic or mountain encounter
- Are building out a yeti encounter group or a boss-level apex predator moment
- Want a centrepiece monster that reads as threatening from across the table
- Collect large-scale creature miniatures for display or painting projects
- DMs running wilderness survival arcs, frozen dungeon delves, or primal horror campaigns
Encounter Hook: The party has been following a trail of shredded pack animal carcasses up the mountain pass for two days. On the third morning, the trail ends — and something steps out from behind the ridge directly ahead, mane of fur rippling in the wind, head low, eyes fixed on the group. Roll for initiative.
