Description

She never retreated. She never relented. And even now, immortalised in armour and spectral flame, Xylia looks ready to carve through whatever stands in her way.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

This is a collector's display bust of Xylia, the Unrelenting Soldier — a warrior figure rendered with extraordinary sculptural ambition. Her visored helmet is flanked by swept horns, the visor slit suggesting a hard, focused gaze beneath. Draped in layered plate armour with etched detailing across the chest and pauldrons, her form speaks to a soldier who has seen the worst of war and kept marching. Most striking of all is the great cascade of spectral hair that rises and curls behind her — not quite flame, not quite smoke, but something elemental and untamed that trails upward like the wake of a battlefield ghost. She sits on a hewn stone plinth, cracked at the edges, suggesting a figure pulled from ruin or legend.

As a bust, Xylia is built for the painter's desk and the display shelf — a canvas for glazing, object-source lighting from that ethereal hair, and fine detail work on the armour's surface texture. She also serves as brilliant visual inspiration for DMs building a legendary NPC: a fallen general returned, a haunted knight errant, or the face of a martial order that history has all but forgotten.

A fine choice for adventurers who:

  • Want a display bust with real sculptural drama and layered detail to paint
  • Are drawn to warrior figures with an otherworldly, spectral quality
  • Need a visual anchor for a campaign's legendary soldier, general, or haunted knight NPC
  • Are building a fantasy bust collection and want a statement centrepiece

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the ruined war-chapel and finds a cracked stone bust on the altar — and then the ghost of Xylia herself materialises beside it, armour flickering like cold fire. She doesn't attack. She simply asks: "Why have you come to disturb the last thing left of me?" The answer decides whether she becomes their most powerful ally — or their most relentless enemy.

This bust is scaled for display rather than standard tabletop use and comes supplied on its sculpted stone plinth base. Printed at high resolution to preserve every etched armour panel and the fine flowing detail of the spectral hair. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin prints, minor surface marks can occasionally occur and are easily cleaned up with a light sand before priming.
