Wolf 02 by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
It moves through the treeline like a shadow with teeth — head low, muscles coiled, waiting for the moment the party stops paying attention.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs

This is pose 02 of the Wolf range sculpted by Mia Kay M3DM, and it captures a wolf mid-stalk: weight shifting forward onto heavy front paws, head dipped with intent, coarse fur textured in fine detail across the haunches and shoulders. The sculpt reads as both a natural predator and something just a little too deliberate to be ordinary. Whether you're placing it in a moonlit forest clearing or at the heel of a druid who just lost concentration on Wild Shape, this piece earns its space on the table.
Wolves in D&D 5e are CR ¼ monsters with the Pack Tactics trait — which means they're best encountered in numbers. This sculpt pairs well with others from the same range to build a hunting pack, or stands alone as a ranger's loyal companion, a familiar-adjacent creature, or the triggering threat in a wilderness hex. It's equally at home on a display shelf between sessions.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Run wilderness, forest, or tundra encounters and want convincing creature representation
- Play or DM rangers with animal companions or druidic beast allies
- Collect beast miniatures for varied encounter tables
- Enjoy painting detailed animal sculpts with layered fur textures
- Want a centrepiece mini for display as well as gameplay
Encounter Hook:
Three days into the Thornwood crossing, the party's scout finds the remains of a campfire — cold, but not old. Around it, pressed into the mud in a wide circle, are the tracks of at least five large wolves. They didn't eat anything at the camp. They were just watching. Tonight, the party makes camp again — and the wolves remember where they sleep.
