Description

She does not hunt vampires for coin or glory — she hunts them because the blood in her own veins demands she understand what darkness truly costs.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Elvera Thorne is a character who carries contradiction in every line of her sculpt. Her small horns and unsettling poise speak to infernal heritage, yet she bears her owl familiar with the calm authority of a wizard who has mastered forces far older than herself. One arm reaches outward — commanding, probing, reaching across the veil — while the owl's wings spread wide on her other fist, feathers rendered with extraordinary individual detail. Her layered coat and sash billow with arrested motion, her long hair swept behind her as though the night itself is trying to hold her back.

From Primal Collectibles' Legacy of Blood range, this is a display bust — which means the sculpt goes deep where a tabletop miniature can only hint. Every strand of hair, every feather, the texture of the leather across her shoulders, the subtle expression of absolute certainty on her face — all of it is here for painters to explore. Whether you are working up NMM on her coat, blending a moody midnight-blue skin tone, or spending hours on the owl's layered plumage, this bust will reward the time you put in.

A piece worth picking up for adventurers who:

  • Want a display bust that doubles as character inspiration for a tiefling wizard, warlock, or arcane hunter
  • Are looking for a detailed painting project with strong focal points — the owl, the reaching hand, and the face each stand alone as challenges
  • Are building a gothic or Ravenloft-themed collection and need a character who belongs in that world
  • Want to bring an NPC to life — a patron, a rival, or a morally complex guide through vampire-haunted lands

Encounter Hook:

The party has been tracking a vampire coven for three sessions when they find her first — standing alone in the nave of a ruined chapel, owl perched on her fist, one hand extended toward a sealed crypt door. She turns slowly. Her eyes are white. She says: "I know what is behind this door. I know because I was made by the same thing that made it. The question is whether you are brave enough to open it with me."
