Description

He does not cast from the back row — Artemis of Canos meets danger blade-first, his arcane staff raised and his runic sword already drawn.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is a wizard who has long since abandoned the comfort of the tower. Artemis of Canos cuts a striking silhouette: wide-brimmed hat pulled low, long robes layered over travelling clothes, a belt heavy with arcane tools and scrolls, and both hands occupied — one gripping an ornate staff crowned with a carved relic topper, the other holding a rune-etched longsword with the ease of someone who has used it before. His long beard and weathered stance speak to decades of hard-won knowledge, while the dynamic wide-legged pose says he is done waiting to be attacked first.

The sculpt is richly detailed throughout — the flowing fabric of his robes catches mid-movement, the herringbone weave on his trousers sits crisp and clean, and the decorative scroll-work on his coat gives painters something genuinely rewarding to work into. The shattered-stone base adds weight to the scene, grounding what is clearly a mage in mid-combat. Whether you paint him in scholarly greys or give his staff a glowing magical focal point, this miniature rewards the brush. He works equally well as a tabletop game piece and as a display collector's centrepiece.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Want a melee-capable wizard PC that breaks the spellcaster archetype
  • Need a seasoned arcane NPC — a mentor, a rival, or a grey-area ally
  • Are building an academy, guild, or wandering mage faction for their campaign
  • Collect fantasy miniatures with a focus on character and narrative weight

Encounter Hook:
The party finds Artemis of Canos standing alone in the wreckage of a merchant convoy, sword still drawn and staff crackling with spent energy. He says he was passing through. The bodies of six armed guards suggest otherwise — and his sealed satchel, clutched tightly under one arm, is clearly the reason someone sent them.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will seat them cleanly. The sculpted base is designed to complement the model's stance, and the two work together as a composed scene. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming or use straight from the box.
