This is Witch 03 from MZ4250's celebrated hag range, and the sculpt captures everything that makes hags such compelling antagonists at the table. Gaunt and hollow-chested, she strides forward with bare, gnarled feet and a billowing cloak that fans dramatically behind her — the kind of silhouette that tells your players something is very, very wrong before they've even rolled Insight. One clawed hand reaches outward mid-gesture, fingers curled as though weaving a hex or sealing a bargain, while a skull amulet rests against her chest. Her tall, pointed hat sits crookedly atop a sneering, sunken face — all leathery skin and contemptuous expression. She is not charging into combat. She is offering terms.
As the third pose in the Witch series from MZ4250, this sculpt leans into the hag's role as manipulator and schemer rather than brawler. She works beautifully as a Green Hag, Sea Hag, or Night Hag — or as the mastermind pulling strings behind a seemingly unrelated set of encounters. Painters will find tremendous detail to work with: the flowing, layered cloak, the texture of her exposed ribs and weathered skin, and that skull brooch each reward different techniques.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a coven leader or lone hag antagonist for their D&D 5e campaign
- Want an NPC who trades in curses, favours, and deeply unwise bargains
- Are building a Feywild, swamp, or Ravenloft-themed encounter table
- Collect and paint characterful humanoid monsters for display
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the edge of the Ashfen Mire to find a lone village elder waiting — the same elder who supposedly died three winters ago. She greets them by name, knows exactly which of them is desperate enough to deal, and has already written up the contract.
