Kobolds are underestimated. That is usually the last mistake anyone makes. This winged variant takes an already dangerous creature and adds the terrifying dimension of aerial ambush — wings spread wide, clawed feet ready to land, and a heavy tribal club gripped in both hands as the jaws snarl open. This is not a timid rat-lizard cowering in a tunnel. This is a predator that has learned to drop from above.

The sculpt captures the kobold mid-pounce: leathery bat-like wings arched back and fully extended, the body hunched forward with purpose, a rope-bound club clutched across the chest as the head tilts back in a savage war-cry. The detail carries right through to the textured wing membranes, the scaled torso, and the taloned feet — all of which reward a careful painter.
