Kobolds are easy to underestimate — right up until one drops on you from thirty feet up. This winged kobold archer captures that exact threat: leathery bat-like wings spread wide mid-stride, jaws parted in a snarling challenge, a shortbow gripped in clawed hands and a well-stocked quiver strapped across its back. The braided cord wrapped along the bow's limbs and the angular quiver packed with arrows give the sculpt a real sense of primitive-but-purposeful craftsmanship — these kobolds have been at this a long time.
The pose is mid-motion, one foot raised, wings arched — conveying the restless energy of a creature that is equally at home skittering along the floor or banking through stalactites overhead.
