The Wind Goddess Avatar is a figure of primal, uncaged divinity — feminine in form yet vast in presence, poised mid-descent with a long spear gripped at her side and both great feathered wings spread wide at their fullest span. Every individual feather is sculpted with crisp, layered detail from primary down to covert, creating a sense of genuine weight and movement despite the miniature's scale. Her wild, upswept hair frames a focused, fierce expression, and her body is adorned with feathered armour accents across her arms and torso that blur the line between warrior and avatar of nature.
She stands atop a dramatic sculpted cloud base — a billowing mass of carved cumulus that lifts her taloned, bird-like feet clear of the ground, reinforcing the sense that she has never truly touched the earth and never intends to. The base alone sets a scene: this is not a goddess who walks among mortals. She arrives.
With her enormous wingspan and cloud-wreathed base, this miniature commands serious table real estate — a large-scale presence that will draw every eye the moment she hits the board. She is equally compelling as the centrepiece of a display shelf, offering a wealth of surface area for ambitious colour work: bleached feathers with dark tips, verdigris-toned armour, storm-grey skin with crackling OSL from an approaching thunderhead.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable divine antagonist or celestial patron made manifest
- Are running campaigns in the Elemental Planes, Celestial Realms, or storm-touched wilderness settings
- Want a high-impact painting project that rewards time spent on feathers and OSL effects
- Are building a display collection of deific or mythological figures
Encounter Hook
The party's airship is three days out from the Spire of Aethon when the winds die entirely — an unnatural, suffocating calm. Then she appears off the port bow, hovering at eye level with the crow's nest, spear at rest across one shoulder and wings folded tight. She asks, quietly, who gave them permission to cross her sky. She is not angry yet. She is giving them the chance to answer correctly.
