Description

Something ancient and wrong stirs beneath the dripping armour — the skull that grins at you was never truly alive, and yet it has never stopped moving.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

William Sugarfield is one of the more unsettling constructs you might drop onto your game table. Equal parts warrior and nightmare, this hulking figure stands in heavy plated armour adorned with swirling knotwork — all of it running and dripping as though the very material is slowly melting away. Clutching a broad stone-edged shield and a long, wicked blade, his skull face is split in a silent roar, with hollow eye sockets and a maw full of jagged teeth. Whatever force animates him is not entirely natural, and the cascading drips across his arms and torso suggest something darker than standard golemcraft at work. He could represent a fallen champion bound into undeath, a golem whose necrotic core has begun to bleed through its casing, or a Ravenloft creation that absorbed something it was never meant to.

Whether you're staging a mid-dungeon ambush, placing a cursed guardian before a sealed vault, or building a display piece that demands attention on a shelf, William Sugarfield brings both visual weight and narrative menace. He reads equally well as a solo boss encounter or as part of a corrupted construct warband.

A great fit for adventurers who:

  • Run undead or construct-heavy campaigns in settings like Ravenloft or homebrew dark fantasy worlds
  • Need a large, imposing boss monster with a distinctive and paintable silhouette
  • Collect armoured undead or corrupted warrior miniatures for display
  • Want a miniature with real depth of detail — the dripping texture and knotwork reward careful painting

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the missing garrison to a sealed undercroft — inside, arranged in perfect formation, stand twelve of the castle's former knights, all encased in the same dripping black armour. William Sugarfield stands apart from the rest, facing the door, and as the adventurers enter, only his head turns to regard them. He does not speak. He simply raises his blade.

Details

William Sugarfield is supplied at 35mm scale — if you'd prefer a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate. The miniature arrives unpainted and ready for priming, supplied without a scenic base. Some minor post-processing marks may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before painting. Both images show a digital render of the sculpt, displayed unpainted in grey, from front and rear angles.
