William Harvester is the kind of NPC that breathes life into a rural encounter. Broad-shouldered and weathered, he stands with one hand on his hip and a well-worn pitchfork gripped firmly in the other — the posture of a man who's seen hard seasons and harder times. His wide-brimmed straw hat is sculpted with impressive woven texture, and the detail on his layered belt, tool pouch, and tied sacking adds real character to every angle. The rear view reveals a small tied bundle hanging from his belt — the kind of detail that rewards a painter who takes their time.
This is a character who could be the first friendly face in a new village, a frightened witness to something terrible in the fields, or the gruff ringleader of a desperate mob. The expression is guarded — watchful — which leaves his allegiances entirely up to your storytelling.
A fine choice for adventurers who:
- Need a named NPC to anchor a rural or farming settlement
- Are running a mystery involving blighted crops, missing villagers, or cult activity in the countryside
- Want a commoner mini with enough character detail to feel like a real person
- Enjoy painting textured cloth, worn leather, and natural materials
- Collect display-worthy civilian miniatures alongside their adventuring parties
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in the village of Ashfen to find the harvest festival cancelled and the fields abandoned. William Harvester meets them at the road's edge, pitchfork in hand, eyes scanning the treeline. He won't say what he saw three nights ago — not yet — but the mud on his boots goes deeper than any furrow should, and his hands won't stop shaking.

What's included:
William Harvester is printed at 32mm scale. He comes supplied on a plain black round base. A decorative base option is available at checkout — if selected, please send us a note specifying which base style you'd prefer, as the decorative base comes separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. He arrives unpainted and ready for priming and painting, or equally suited to use straight from the box. Small imperfections from the printing process are possible; any minor marks can be cleaned up with a hobby knife or fine sandpaper before priming.
