The Wight Warrior Shooting miniature captures a moment of deadly intent frozen in resin — longbow fully drawn, arrow levelled, body twisted into the classic archer's stance with one knee raised for balance and control. The sculpt is packed with characterful detail: spiked pauldrons and knee guards, rope-wrapped bracers, layered leather and plate armour panels, and a tattered silhouette that speaks to years of undeath in the wilds. The face is gaunt and skeletal, hair still flowing from the draw of movement — a creature that was once mortal and has retained the muscle memory of a trained warrior long after the soul departed.

From the rear, the sculpt is equally compelling. The flowing hair, spike-studded back plate, quiver of arrows at the hip, and the tension in the raised leg all combine to make this a miniature worth painting from every angle. Whether you're fielding it as a wight ranger, a cursed archer risen from a battlefield, or the undead vanguard of a necromancer's warband, this sculpt carries real narrative weight on the table.

This miniature works beautifully as a single encounter piece or as part of a larger undead skirmish force. The medium base size (25.5mm) fits standard movement trays and fits neatly into most encounter layouts.

This miniature suits adventurers who:

  • Need an undead ranged attacker to threaten the party from the back line
  • Are building out a wight warband, skeletal rangers, or necromancer's army
  • Want a centrepiece undead mini with exceptional detail for display painting
  • Are running Shadowfell, Ravenloft, or graveyard-based D&D campaigns
  • Play Rangers, Fighters, or Rogues and want an undead mirror of their own class

Encounter Hook

The party has been tracking a rogue necromancer through the Thornwood for three days. They emerge into a moonlit clearing and find the treeline on the far side bristling with silent figures — each one with a bow raised. The wight at the centre doesn't flinch. It simply draws. The necromancer's voice echoes from somewhere behind them: "I said I'd have archers waiting."
