This is pose 3 of our Wight range from Primal Collectibles, and it's a striking one. The sculpt captures the wight mid-advance — long, matted hair wild about its snarling face, a longsword raised in one clawed hand while the other reaches forward with grasping, taloned fingers. Its armour is battered and rotting, held together by fraying cord, and a grim trophy belt of small skulls hangs at its waist. The base features shattered gravestones and rubble, lending the miniature a strong sense of place — this creature belongs in a desecrated churchyard or the outer edge of a necromancer's domain.
Wights in D&D 5e are more than mere undead muscle — they remember what it was to be alive, and that makes them far more dangerous. Their life-drain ability can drop Constitution maximums and raise fresh wights from slain foes, meaning a single encounter can spiral quickly. Whether you're running a gothic horror campaign set in Ravenloft or seeding a dungeon with undead guardians, this miniature brings the right weight of menace to the table. It's equally at home on a well-lit display shelf as it is on a battlemap.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a characterful wight or undead warrior for D&D 5e or other TTRPG systems
- Are building a Ravenloft, gothic horror, or necromancer-themed encounter table
- Want a centrepiece undead miniature with graveyard theming already sculpted into the base
- Are painting for display and want a sculpt with excellent surface texture and expressive detail
- Are collecting multiple poses from the Wight range to field as a warband
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate the village of Velthmoor, where three gravediggers have gone missing in as many nights. On the third night, they discover the old cemetery churned up from below — and a lone wight standing over a freshly emptied grave, tilting its head slowly toward the sound of their approaching torchlight.
