Description

He did not choose the curse — but he learned to wear it like armour, and now the full moon is the least frightening thing about him.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

Lucian is no mindless beast. This bust captures a lycanthrope mid-snarl, every strand of coarse fur rendered with extraordinary precision — from the layered ruff around his thick neck to the sharp, forward-set ears and the exposed teeth of a creature that has long since made peace with what it is. A broad bandolier crosses his chest, and a heavy pauldron sits on one shoulder, hinting at a warrior's past that predates the bite. The expression is not rage — it is resolve, the look of something that has survived too much to be threatened by your torches and silver.

Mounted on a decorative stone plinth with carved geometric panelling, this is a bust built to command attention from a shelf or painting desk. The back of the sculpt is just as considered as the front — cascading fur flows across the shoulders with the kind of layered depth that rewards wet blending, glazing, or a careful zenithal undercoat. Whether you're painting Lucian as an ancient Pack Lord, a cursed paladin who lost the fight, or the patron werewolf of a Ravenloft domain, the sculpt gives you everything you need to tell that story in paint.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Want a serious display painting project with deep texture across every surface
  • Are building a collection of lycanthrope, beast, or monster busts
  • Need a visually commanding NPC, boss monster, or campaign villain for their table's lore
  • Play in or run Ravenloft, werewolf-heavy campaigns, or dark fantasy settings

Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of three village disappearances to a ruined keep at the forest's edge. Inside, mounted on a stone pedestal in the great hall, sits this bust — and beneath it, a name carved in old common: Lucian, Warden of the Wood, Who Kept the Darkness Out. The howling outside grows louder. Whatever Lucian was protecting the village from has arrived, and whatever Lucian has become is somewhere inside the keep with them.

What's included:
This is a display bust rather than a standard 32mm tabletop miniature — the piece is significantly larger in scale, designed to showcase sculptural and painting detail. It comes mounted on the decorative stone plinth visible in the product images. Supplied in grey unprimed resin, ready for sanding, priming, and painting. Support marks are removed prior to dispatch, though minor clean-up may occasionally be required on complex pieces.
