Werewolf by Monster Atlas
Description
The full moon crests the treeline, and the thing that was once a man tears free of the last shreds of its clothing — all that remains is hunger, fur, and yellow, unblinking eyes.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This werewolf sculpt from Monster Atlas captures the lycanthrope at its most dangerous: mid-transformation, muscular frame coiled and ready, tattered clothing clinging to a body no longer quite human. The face is a wolf's — snarling, jaws wide, amber eyes burning with feral intelligence — but the belt, the wrapped wrist bindings, the remnants of trousers all speak to the person still trapped inside. It's that tension — the horror of recognition — that makes this sculpt so effective on the table.
Three distinct poses are available in this range. Pose 1 stands square and confrontational, arms spread wide and claws splayed in a threat display. Pose 2 leans forward aggressively, one leg raised as though mid-lunge, arms flung out like a predator about to close the distance. Pose 3 crouches low and deliberate, one knee raised and claws drawn in — the coiled stillness before the pounce. Whether you want a snarling pack leader, a cursed NPC mid-change, or a shapeshifting villain revealed at the worst possible moment, one of these three works for your encounter. All three work together even better.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Need a werewolf that reads as both monstrous and tragically human
- Are running a horror-tinged campaign, village mystery arc, or Ravenloft-adjacent adventure
- Want to field a full pack with varied poses across the same sculpt range
- Paint lycanthropes with an eye for fur texture, torn clothing, and moonlit colour palettes
- Collect display-quality monster minis with genuine character
Encounter Hook:
The miller's son went missing three nights ago. The party finds him at dawn, confused, barefoot, and covered in blood that isn't his — his last memory is drinking at the tavern. By nightfall, the scratches on his arms have already healed. Someone needs to find a cure before the moon rises again.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and base are separate pieces — attach with a small amount of super glue. The decorative base is worth using, as the sculpt is designed to sit naturally within it. The mini arrives ready for priming and painting, though it looks distinctive straight out of the box in its raw grey state.
