The Werewolf Boss is no mere feral lycanthrope driven mad by the curse. This is a warlord of the pack — a creature that has fully embraced its transformation and had the craft to arm itself to match. The sculpt captures three distinct and ferocious incarnations: one lunging forward with a jagged, flame-edged greatsword held wide in an aggressive sweep; one bearing down in a forward-charging stance, a brutal serrated axe raised and claws extended on the opposing hand; and a dramatic rear-angle detail view showing the sheer mass of the spiked pauldrons and bone-like armour plating that covers the creature's back. Each pose sits on a chunky, textured rocky base that anchors the figure and adds real battlefield weight. The sculpt is rich with surface detail — layered scale-like armour plates, exposed fur-covered musculature, articulated clawed feet, and a wolf skull helm crowned with bone-shard horns. This is a creature your players will remember.
Whether you are building a Ravenloft-inspired arc, running a werewolf cult storyline, or simply want a genuinely imposing boss monster to place on the table at the climax of a wilderness hunt, the Werewolf Boss delivers the visual authority that a CR-worthy encounter demands. Equally at home on a display shelf, the level of sculpted detail rewards a careful painter — the armour planes, fur textures, and blade serrations all lend themselves to layering and contrast work.
This miniature suits adventurers who:
- Need a commanding boss-tier lycanthrope for a D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounter
- Are running a werewolf pack, cursed-bloodline, or Ravenloft-themed campaign arc
- Want a centrepiece monster that reads clearly on the table from across the room
- Enjoy ambitious painting projects with rich surface texture and layered armour detail
- Collect high-quality fantasy monster miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to negotiate peace with a rogue werewolf clan who have been raiding the trade roads — but when they arrive at the camp and the alpha steps forward into the firelight, fully armoured and carrying a blade taller than any of them, it becomes immediately clear that this is not a creature interested in words.
