This sculpt captures a lycanthrope warrior at the precise, terrifying moment she launches herself into the fray — scaled armour still clinging to a body that is rapidly becoming something else entirely. Arms spread wide, one leg raised mid-leap, she surges forward on a flowing spectral base that gives the whole piece a sense of violent, barely-contained momentum. Her draconic or lupine scale-plated chest armour and articulated gauntlets speak to a martial background, while the wild crown of fur and outstretched clawed hands make it unmistakably clear that the beast has taken over.
From every angle this is a dynamic, narrative-rich sculpt. The rear view reveals the full drama of the trailing cloak-like base and the raised knee, emphasising just how airborne and ferocious she appears. The detail on the interlocking scale plates, chainmail beneath, and the engraved emblem at her chest reward careful painting — washes and drybrushing will pick out every plate and follicle with ease.
Whether you paint her as a Ravenloft antihero mid-transformation, a cursed paladin who lost control at the worst possible moment, or simply the terror that stalks the village on a full moon, this miniature carries the story with it before a single brushstroke has been applied.
This miniature is a great pick for adventurers who:
- Are running a Ravenloft or gothic horror campaign featuring lycanthrope threats
- Need a standout werewolf encounter piece with genuine visual drama
- Want a miniature that works equally well as a player character or fearsome enemy
- Are looking for a display painting project with exceptional sculptural flow and detail
- Play or DM games featuring cursed warriors, fallen paladins, or shapeshifter antagonists
Encounter Hook
The party thought they had cornered her in the courtyard of the ruined keep — Sir Maewyn, once the order's most decorated knight, now hunted by the very chapter she served. Then the moon broke through the clouds. Armour cracking, knuckles splitting, she exhaled once — and leapt straight at the sorcerer with a scream that was neither entirely human nor entirely wolf.
