Description

The screaming stopped before the village guard arrived — all that remained were claw marks in the doorframe and a tuft of coarse, dark fur.

  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Werewolf 01 from Galaad Miniatures: a lycanthrope caught in the savage height of transformation. The sculpt captures the beast mid-lunge — mane wild and bristling, jaws stretched in a roar, both clawed hands raised and reaching. Ragged shreds of clothing cling to a body that has long since outgrown them, and the digitigrade legs and broad clawed feet tell you this creature no longer runs on human instinct. The base is rubble-strewn, grounding the figure mid-stalk rather than mid-leap, giving the pose a coiled, predatory tension that translates brilliantly to the table.

As a D&D encounter piece, this sculpt works as a standalone werewolf, a pack alpha, a cursed NPC in the grip of the full moon, or a shapeshifting villain whose human face your party has already met. The level of surface detail — the layered fur texture across the mane, the sinew and muscle definition in the arms, the individual claw segments — rewards careful painters while holding up equally well straight from the base coat for gaming use. Whether you're building a Ravenloft campaign, running a moonlit wilderness encounter, or adding a key lycanthrope to your display shelf, this sculpt earns its place.

Perfect for adventurers who:
  • Need a werewolf with genuine menace for a D&D or TTRPG encounter
  • Are building a lycanthrope-themed villain arc or cursed NPC storyline
  • Want a centrepiece monster for a Ravenloft or gothic horror campaign
  • Enjoy detailed miniatures as painting projects or display pieces
  • Are collecting the full Galaad Miniatures monster range

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to track a series of brutal livestock killings near a remote farmstead — but on the third night, the trail leads not into the forest, but back through the village gates, straight to the blacksmith's forge, where a shredded leather apron hangs on the door and something large is breathing in the dark beyond.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces and attach with a small amount of superglue — the base has been sculpted to interact with the model's pose, so we recommend using it as intended. Print quality is high-detail resin; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occur and are easily tidied with light sanding before priming. This mini works brilliantly painted or used straight from the base coat.
