Description

Once a wandering scout, now something altogether worse — the curse took hold between one sunset and the next, and the wings never fully folded away.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Werevulture occupies a grimly fascinating niche among lycanthropes. Where werewolves inspire dread through raw savagery, this creature unsettles with patience — circling, waiting, descending only when the outcome is already decided. Half-human, half-carrion bird, it carries the hollow hunger of something that has learned to feed on the fallen. In a campaign, it makes for a chilling predator of battlefields, plague-ridden towns, or the cursed outskirts of civilisation — a creature your players will hear before they see.

The sculpt captures that unsettling hybrid form with real conviction: great feathered wings spread wide, taloned feet braced for landing, and a hunched, powerful posture that reads immediately as both bird and beast. It cuts an imposing silhouette on the table.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want a distinctive lycanthrope beyond the standard wolf or bear
  • Are running a Ravenloft, plague, or wilderness horror arc
  • Need a boss monster with a genuinely unsettling visual identity
  • Collect shapeshifters, monstrosities, or cursed creature minis for display

Encounter Hook:
The bodies of three soldiers have been found stripped to bone on the edge of the Ashfen Moor — not eaten, but cleaned, methodically, over several nights. The local militia insists it is wolves. The party's tracker has found no paw prints, only the deep-pressed marks of enormous talons, and one moulted feather the length of a forearm.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces — some sculpts interact directly with their base, so we recommend attaching them with superglue for the best result. Printed at high resolution; supports are removed before dispatch. Minor marks or imperfections are possible as part of the printing process and can be cleaned up easily. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for priming, painting, or immediate use as-is.

The miniatures are made with care. The cats are made with attitude. Both are features, not bugs.

Works beautifully alongside monster encounters for complete Ravenloft campaigns — or explore more from Monster Atlas.
