Description
Somewhere between the academy and the wild, a scholar of arcane arts carries both a spellbook and a secret — claws beneath those flowing robes.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This weretiger wizard cuts an immediately compelling silhouette: a stout, feline mage draped in layered robes, clutching a gnarled staff topped with an orb in one paw and an open tome in the other. The broad-brimmed pointed hat sits low over a whiskered, expressive face, lending the figure the air of someone who has lived several lives — some of them feral. The detail in the robe folds, the curling staff, and the distinctly leonine features make this a character with genuine narrative weight, whether you're painting it as a beloved NPC or putting it on the table as your own wizard's token.
For Dungeon Masters running campaigns that blur the line between civilisation and the beast, this miniature does a lot of work. It reads immediately as learned and dangerous — the kind of figure who might run a mages' guild by day and prowl the rooftops by moonlight. Equally well-suited to Tabaxi wizard characters or any lycanthrope-touched spellcaster with a complicated backstory.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Are playing a Tabaxi, weretiger, or lycanthrope-afflicted wizard
- Want a memorable NPC mage with an immediately distinctive look
- Are building a faction of beastfolk scholars or arcane society elders
- Collect characterful humanoid casters for display or campaign use
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a string of disappearances near a remote tower — scholars who went in seeking tutelage and never returned. When they finally meet the master of the tower, he greets them warmly, robed and scholarly, staff in hand. It's only when one of them rolls a high Insight check that they notice the claw marks on the stone floor — and realise they've been invited to dinner in more than one sense.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale and supplied as a single piece attached to a round base. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin printing, minor surface marks are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up easily. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — equally handsome left as grey resin on a display shelf.
