Description

Half scholar, half predator, the wereraven moves through polite society with a dagger at his belt and a spell already forming in his outstretched hand — and by the time you realise what he is, it is already too late.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 03 of our Wereraven range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio — a mid-transformation raven-folk warrior caught in a moment of dangerous poise. The sculpt shows a broad-shouldered avian figure clad in flowing robes, a short blade gripped close to the body in one hand whilst the other extends open, fingers splayed as if channelling a spell or issuing a command. Enormous feathered wings spread dramatically behind the figure, each individual primary feather rendered with sharp clarity. Scaled taloned feet and a hawk-like beak complete the silhouette — a creature caught between civilised restraint and wild instinct.

The rear of the sculpt is equally impressive, with layered wing feathers fanning out in an almost cloak-like display. Whether you're using this figure as a spellcasting Wereraven NPC, a Kenku sorcerer, a cursed noble in hybrid form, or a sinister emissary from a flock-cult, the dynamic pose reads clearly across the table. It also makes for a compelling display piece on a shelf or in a cabinet, painting up beautifully with contrast paints or traditional layering.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a characterful lycanthrope NPC for a Ravenloft or gothic horror campaign
  • Are running a murder mystery where the killer can take wing and vanish at will
  • Play a Kenku, Aarakocra, or bird-folk character who wants a distinctive sculpt
  • Collect and paint non-standard humanoid minis with strong silhouettes
  • Want a standout display piece with dramatic wing detail and spellcasting energy

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the killer of three city merchants to an upmarket townhouse — inside they find a well-dressed figure sipping wine, blades nowhere in sight, who offers to help them investigate. It is only when one of the party rolls high on Insight that they notice the feathers beginning to emerge beneath the collar, and the fingers on the wine glass have — quietly, gradually — become talons.

Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is sent unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Each miniature is printed at high resolution and arrives with supports removed, ready for priming and painting or for use straight from the box. As with all hand-finished resin work, minor imperfections can occasionally occur; these are easily tidied up before painting.
