Description

In the warrens beneath the city, the eldest of the wererat clan moves without sound — robed, patient, and far more dangerous than he appears.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Wererat 04, the fourth sculpt in our wererat range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and he cuts a distinctly martial silhouette. Dressed in a flowing gi-style robe with wrapped legs and clawed rat feet visible beneath the hem, he carries a longstaff in one hand whilst the other hand curls forward, sharp claws ready. His whip-like tail coils behind him, and the detail on his rat head — elongated snout, prominent ears, coarse fur — is the kind of work that rewards a careful painter. This is a wererat who has disciplined himself into something truly unsettling: not a savage beast, but a trained fighter who happens to have fangs.

Whether you run him as a Monk-class wererat crime boss, a cursed martial arts master, or the enforcer of a thieves' guild with plague-touched ambitions, this sculpt carries the weight of a character with history. He works equally well as a tabletop encounter piece or a display miniature for collectors who appreciate creature sculpts with real personality and craft.

A fine addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a distinctive wererat leader or lieutenant for their D&D or TTRPG campaign
  • Are building an Underdark or urban underworld encounter with layered NPCs
  • Collect lycanthrope miniatures and want variety across poses and archetypes
  • Enjoy painting robed humanoid creatures with expressive anatomy and strong silhouettes

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to track down a stolen shipment of silver — but the trail leads to a monastery outside town, where a robed figure receives them at the gate, bows politely, and offers them tea. He knows why they've come. He's been expecting them. And the silver, he explains calmly, was payment for a service already rendered.
