Description

When the bloodlust takes hold and the fur rises across his skin, Orik Bjornstain is no longer a man — he is the bear, roaring from somewhere older and wilder than any civilisation dares to name.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is Orik Bjornstain in his full werebear form, and the sculpt wastes nothing. He stands broad and brutish in hybrid form — massive, fur-covered, and unmistakably dangerous — gripping a runic greataxe engraved with Norse-style knotwork across its blade. A heavy woven cloak billows behind him, detailed with a tight basketweave texture that rewards close painting. His maw is open in a full bellow, flanged teeth and all, while a braided torc collar sits at his throat. Scaled bracers, layered belt pouches, and bear-claw feet ground him firmly in a northern warrior tradition, and his rocky textured base puts him mid-stride through tundra or mountain terrain.

As a gaming piece he carries serious table presence — whether you're running him as a lycanthrope boss, a berserker NPC with a dark secret, or a player character who's embraced their curse. As a display piece, the depth of surface detail across fur, armour, and fabric gives painters a genuinely engaging canvas to work with.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a lycanthrope boss or cursed ally with real visual weight at the table
  • Are running a Norse-themed or wilderness campaign and want a werebear that looks the part
  • Play a werebear barbarian and want a miniature that captures the savage power of the transformation
  • Collect lycanthrope or shapeshifter miniatures for display

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks the source of brutal livestock killings to a remote highland steading — and finds Orik Bjornstain, a respected jarl, chaining himself to the longhouse wall each evening and begging them to find a cure before the moon rises again tonight.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces and attach easily with superglue — Orik looks his best displayed on his scenic rocky base, which his pose was sculpted to interact with naturally. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or striking straight from the shelf as a raw display piece.
