The Wendigo is one of the most evocative horrors a Dungeon Master can unleash on an unsuspecting party. This sculpt by Mia Kay M3DM captures it at its most unsettling: a skeletal cervine form, ribs exposed and sinew-wrapped, a crown of branching antlers draped in vertebral chains, and a colony of fungi blooming across its back as though the forest itself is slowly reclaiming the corpse. Two skulls — one mounted high on a skeletal perch, one forming the creature's own head — give the piece a layered, deeply strange quality that rewards close inspection. A scatter of mushrooms and stones populate the base, rooting this nightmare in a recognisable woodland that makes it all the more unsettling.

Whether you're statting it as an undead monstrosity, a fey-cursed spirit of the wild, or a manifestation of a dying god's final breath, this miniature has the presence to anchor an entire adventure arc. Equally compelling as a display piece on a shelf, where that canopy of antlers will draw every eye in the room.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a centrepiece boss creature for a dark forest or cursed woodland campaign
  • Are building a Ravenloft, Feywild, or nature-horror themed encounter
  • Want an undead beast that reads as ancient, dangerous, and deeply strange
  • Collect display miniatures with strong visual character and paintable surface detail

Encounter Hook:
The druids of the Ashwood Covenant have gone silent. When the party reaches the grove, they find the sacred stones cracked and overgrown with unfamiliar mushrooms — and circling the perimeter, a skeletal stag that shouldn't exist, its antlers hung with the bones of the last people sent to investigate.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The base is included detached and can be attached with a small amount of glue. As with all high-detail resin work, minor imperfections can occasionally occur during the printing process — we quality-check every piece before dispatch, and any residual marks are easily tidied up before priming. The miniature arrives fully cured and ready for painting or immediate use.
