Wendigo 01 by Yasashii Kyojin Studios
Description
It came from the deep woods on silent feet, antlers raking the canopy, something wet and terrible cradled in its hands — and the village elder said it had once been a man.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
The Wendigo is one of tabletop gaming's most unsettling creatures: a hollow-eyed predator that blurs the line between monster and tragedy. This sculpt by Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that wrongness with exceptional craft — a gaunt, emaciated humanoid form, muscles pulled taut over bone, hunched forward mid-stalk with a skeletal deer skull for a head, branching antlers reaching upward like dead timber, and a severed head clutched against its torso. The bony spines along its back and the clawed, grasping hands all carry that same sense of something that was once human and is now very much not. The posture — crouched, coiled, mid-approach — makes it read as a threat even before your players realise what they're facing.
Whether you're running a body-horror wilderness arc, a cursed-village investigation, or a long-rest ambush in the frozen north, this miniature earns its place at the table. It's equally at home on a display shelf for collectors who want something genuinely unsettling to paint.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run D&D 5e wilderness horror or survival encounters
- Need a boss-tier monster with genuine menace on the tabletop
- Are building a Ravenloft, cursed forest, or dark fairytale campaign arc
- Enjoy painting creature miniatures with atmospheric detail — bone, sinew, shadow
- Collect display pieces from independent sculptors
Encounter Hook:
Three hunters from the settlement of Brackenfall went into the Ashenwood a fortnight ago. One came back — or something wearing his face did. It sits by the fire every night, eats nothing, and keeps asking where the others sleep. The party has until dawn before it stops pretending.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base is supplied unattached and can be affixed with a small amount of glue.
