Weapon Stand by Mia Kay M3DM
Description
Between the morning bustle of the market square and the clatter of steel, the weapon merchant's stall draws the eye — bows laid out on the counter, barrels of quarrels beneath, and the smell of oiled leather hanging in the air.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This beautifully detailed scatter terrain piece depicts a fully realised medieval market weapon stall, complete with a woven thatched awning, wooden support posts, a sturdy display counter bearing bows and a cluster of arrows, and three wooden barrels tucked neatly underneath. The back wall features the same woven texture as the canopy, giving the whole piece a coherent, lived-in feel. A hook hangs from the right post — ready for whatever the merchant wants to display. The whole stall sits on a cobblestone base tile that integrates naturally with other street or marketplace scatter.
Whether you're building out a busy city marketplace, staging a heist at the local bazaar, or simply giving your players a richly detailed environment to explore, this piece adds genuine visual weight to any tabletop encounter. It works equally well as a centrepiece for a display diorama or as functional scatter terrain mid-session.
Useful for adventurers who:
- Want to build out a city or market district with authentic-feeling scatter terrain
- Need a visually distinct focal point for urban encounters or social sessions
- Are creating a display diorama set in a fantasy town or bazaar
- Run merchants, fences, or black market NPCs in their campaign
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tipped off that a fence operating out of the Thorngate Market is selling weapons stamped with the crest of the city guard — weapons that should have been destroyed after last month's massacre. The weapon stall is easy enough to find. Getting the merchant to talk is another matter entirely.
Scaled to 32mm. The model with the simple base comes as a single piece attached to the base. The version with a plain base arrives with the base detached, ready to attach with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — use straight from the box for a natural stone effect, or paint to match your existing terrain collection. Supports are removed before dispatch; minor marks from the printing process are possible and can be cleaned up easily.
