The Waterdeep City Watch is the thin line between order and chaos in the City of Splendours — and this officer wears that responsibility with weary authority. Sculpted by The Toadstool Weaver, this miniature depicts a female Watch guard in a layered grey travelling cloak fastened with brass buttons, over a vivid lime-green quilted coat that speaks to the Watch's distinctive livery. A large yellow-trimmed pack rides her back, stuffed with everything a long patrol shift demands. She carries a sturdy wooden staff at her side, a short blade riding her hip for when persuasion falls short. A Watch badge — a blue-and-green shield crest — is pinned prominently to her chest.

Her bucket hat sits low over dark braided hair, and her expression says she has heard every excuse in the book, filed the lot of them, and is not remotely interested in yours. The chunky wooden clogs on her feet are a quietly charming touch — practical, civilian, and somehow exactly right for a guard who spends twelve hours a day on cobblestones.

Whether you need a beat officer questioning the party at the city gate, a Watch sergeant who might be persuaded to look the other way, or a morally grounded NPC who actually gives a damn about the people of Waterdeep, this sculpt delivers real character in a compact form.

Adventurers who'll want this one:

  • Dungeon Masters building out Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, or any bustling fantasy city
  • Campaign runners who want guards with personality, not just filler figures
  • Painters drawn to layered cloth, distinctive livery colours, and characterful faces
  • Collectors building urban encounter tables or city-watch diorama displays

Encounter Hook: The party returns to the Dock Ward after a job gone sideways — only to find this Watch officer waiting at the alley mouth, arms folded, staff planted, badge gleaming. She's already heard three versions of what happened tonight. She wants the fourth, and she'll know if it doesn't match.
