Watchman 06 is the sixth sculpt in Novaminis' city watch series, and this variation brings a distinct sense of weathered authority. He stands broad-shouldered in riveted studded leather armour with pauldron detail, a shortsword held low and ready in one hand while the other shields his eyes — scanning the street, the rooftops, the crowd. There's a pouch on his hip and heavy boots on his feet, and the broad-brimmed hat pulled low gives him the look of a man who's worked more night shifts than he can count.

The pose is full of character — not aggressive, but alert. This is someone who knows his beat, trusts his instincts, and has stopped being surprised by anything the city throws at him. He'd be equally convincing as a corrupt watch captain taking coin from the thieves' guild, a veteran sergeant who's the party's only reliable contact in the city, or a hostile face blocking the door to exactly where the players need to go.

As with all Novaminis sculpts, the detail holds beautifully at 32mm — from the rivet work on his breastplate to the texture of his worn leather breeches and the loose hanging straps of his belt kit.

Suited to adventurers who:

• Need a convincing NPC guard, city watch officer, or town constable
• Are running an urban campaign with factions, crime, or political intrigue
• Want a Fighter, Rogue, or Ranger NPC with presence on the table
• Collect the full Novaminis watch series for variety across encounters
• Are looking for a characterful single-piece display mini with strong visual storytelling

Encounter Hook: The party has been tailing a smuggler through the dockside district when this watchman steps out from a side alley directly into their path. His hand is resting on his sword, his eyes are on the crates the party is carrying, and he's already sent a glance over his shoulder to his unseen colleague two streets back. Is he a man doing his job, or is he on the guild's payroll — and which answer is worse for the players right now?
