This miniature depicts a swirling mass of giant wasps erupting upward from a pockmarked honeycomb base, their segmented bodies packed densely together in a spiralling column of chitin, claws, and veined wings. Each insect is rendered with crisp detail — bulbous compound eyes, articulated legs, and translucent-looking wings fanned outward in every direction. The overall silhouette reads immediately as chaotic and threatening, exactly what you want when you place a swarm token on the table.
The sculpt by Epic Miniatures captures the unsettling quality of insect swarms well — not a single creature but a collective, writhing mass with no clear front or back. From above, the spread of wings gives the impression of constant motion.
