This Wasp Swarm miniature from Epic Miniatures captures a roiling mass of giant wasps bursting upward from a honeycomb-textured hive base. Multiple individual wasps are sculpted in dynamic, overlapping poses — wings spread wide with beautifully rendered veining, segmented abdomens bristling with detail, and chitinous forelegs reaching outward. The cluster rises in a chaotic column, giving the strong impression of an explosion of movement mid-flight. It reads unmistakably as a swarm: dangerous, numerous, and deeply unsettling.
The honeycomb base is a particularly considered touch — it roots the swarm visually and gives painters a rich textural contrast to work with.
