This is a large, powerful warthog sculpted mid-charge — head low, tusks levelled, body coiled with forward momentum. The pose reads immediately as a creature that does not slow down, and the detail backs that energy up: thick, textured hide across the haunches and flanks, heavy trotters gripping the ground, and a tail swept back in full sprint. Every bristle and wrinkle of the animal's musculature is captured in the sculpt.

What makes this warthog genuinely distinctive as a miniature is the war-kit fitted to it. A segmented armoured barding runs along the spine — overlapping plates rising in a ridge from neck to mid-back — while the face is protected by a fitted iron mask, framing the tusked snout. A quilted saddle sits mounted behind the barding, strapped securely with buckled leather across the barrel chest. This is not a wild animal stumbling into the encounter; it is a trained warbeast, tacked up and ready to carry a rider into battle.

The combination of beast and barding makes this sculpt enormously flexible. It works as a goblin warchief's mount, a gnoll cavalry beast, or a wild boar-kin the party has to face down in a forest ambush. Equally, an adventurer whose character rides a trained boar mount will find a thoroughly characterful representation here — the saddle and armour suggest a long partnership between rider and beast.
