This set of three gothic wardrobes from Epic Miniatures brings dark-fantasy furniture to your tabletop — the kind of furnishings you'd find in a vampire lord's bedchamber, a lich's study, or a cursed manor deep in the Shadowfell. Each piece is richly detailed with carved woodgrain textures, skull finials, crossbone drawer handles, and ring-pull hardware that gives them a distinctly macabre character without straying into parody.
The set includes a tall wardrobe with double doors adorned with skull knobs and a row of skulls across the cornice, a wide chest-of-drawers piece with a matching bone-decorated cabinet and open shelving, and a slender pedestal side-table with an open lower shelf and skull accents. Together they furnish an entire room's worth of sinister storage. The reverse of each piece is cleanly sculpted — visible in the second image — making these genuinely versatile scatter pieces that read well from any angle on the table.
Whether you're dressing a haunted bedroom in Barovia, populating a lich's sanctum, or building a themed display diorama, these wardrobes add a layer of narrative detail that flat dungeon tiles simply cannot provide.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Run gothic horror campaigns in Ravenloft, the Shadowfell, or cursed manors
- Want atmospheric scatter terrain to dress interior dungeon or estate rooms
- Are building a display diorama with a necromantic or vampire-lord theme
- Love painting intricate woodgrain and bone details as a painting challenge
Encounter Hook: The party searches the late Count Aldric's private chambers for the missing phylactery. Three ornate wardrobes line the far wall — each large enough to hide a man, each locked with a skull-shaped clasp that wasn't there this morning. From behind the central wardrobe, something breathes.
