This Wall of Ice terrain piece from Mia Kay M3DM is a dramatic scatter terrain sculpt that brings the raw power of elemental magic to your tabletop. A dense cluster of jagged spires — varying in height from small shards at the base to towering blades at the centre — sits on an integrated oval base, giving it a natural, erupting quality that reads instantly as dangerous terrain. Whether you're evoking the Wall of Ice spell, dressing a glacial cavern, or building an encounter in the frozen tundra, this piece does the heavy lifting the moment it hits the table.
It works equally well as a centrepiece for a display shelf or diorama. Primed in bone or left unpainted, the sculpt already catches the light beautifully across its angled facets — but it truly comes alive with a coat of icy blues, whites, and glazes.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Run encounters involving the Wall of Ice spell or elemental magic
- Are building frozen dungeon rooms, glacial wilderness maps, or winter hex-crawl terrain
- Want evocative scatter terrain that doubles as display-worthy scenery
- Are collecting scatter pieces to fill out their battle map collection
Encounter Hook:
The party is three rounds into a skirmish with an ice mephit warband when the enemy caster slams the ground — and a wall of serrated spires erupts between the fighters and the rogue, splitting the party in two. The spires block line of sight, create difficult terrain, and give the mephits the perfect moment to pick off isolated targets. Do your players improvise, or does someone take the hit to smash through?
Scaled to 32mm. The model is attached to its integrated base and arrives as a single piece. It arrives ready for priming and painting — or use it straight from the box if you prefer the raw look. Minor imperfections from the print process are possible; any small marks can be cleaned up easily before painting.
